The San Facundo residence is a mixed residence, which offers an exclusive accommodation service for IE University students, in a renovated 16th century House-Palace, which is equipped with modern facilities to make students feel at home.
It is strategically located between the Plaza Mayor and the Aqueduct, the main leisure and commercial areas of the city, 10 minutes walk from IE University.

THE ROOMS
The Palacio San Facundo Student Residence has 29 rooms of different types, all of them single with full private bathroom inside the room.
Size: 30m².
They are the largest rooms of the Residence, 180 x 190cm bed.
Size: 25 m².
They are more spacious rooms with the same furniture, 180 x
190cm bed.
Size: 19m².
It is more spacious than the previous two and with the same furniture, 150 x 190cm bed.
Size: 17m.
It is larger and more spacious, although the furniture is the same, 150 x 190cm bed.
Size: 15m².
It is the smallest double room in the residence, with a 150 x 200m bed.
Size: 9m².
It is the smallest single room in the residence with 110 x 190cm bed.

Safety
The Residence has a fire alarm system and permanent video surveillance through cameras at the entrances and common areas.
Bed linen and towels
We provide bed linen (sheets, duvet, duvet cover) and washbasin towels, shower and mat. Weekly, depending on the plants, the sheets and towels will be changed when necessary.
Free WIFI
Wired Internet connection in all rooms and WIFI throughout the Residence.
Reception service
We have a reception service with staff willing to help you and ensure your safety.
Air conditioning
Heating and cooling in all rooms.
Individual Lock
All rooms have an individual lock with coded card key for the entrance to the room.
Cleaning
The Residence has staff responsible for cleaning the rooms and common areas from Monday to Friday.
Package collection and mail
Packages and letters from residents will be collected, provided that you clearly enter the full name and room number.
Maintenance
Maintenance service provided by the staff of the Residence or by notice to external specialists when required.
Full board from M to F
The monthly payment includes full board: buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner from Monday to Friday.
FACILITIES
The cafeteria-dining room is located in the central courtyard of the Residence, an open patio flanked by 8 stone columns and a glass dome where you can taste breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Study and projection room, located on the reception floor, has large tables to favor the study and professional development of the residents.
Study room located in the corridor of the second floor, a space in which the old elements coexist with the necessary comforts for the study to develop in an optimal environment.
With the possibility of electric charging for vehicles, where students can rent a parking space for their stay in our residence.

RESERVATIONS
How to formalize a reservation
In case you are interested in formalizing your reservation it is necessary to sign a Residence Contract for which we would need you to provide us with the following information:
- Type of room you want to book.
- Exact period of the reservation (full course stays are from September 1 to May 31).
- Additional services you wish to hire, garage and laundry service of personal clothes.
- Personal information of the resident (name, surname, full address, date and place of birth, nationality, passport/NIE/ DNI number, sex, home phone and mobile phone, email, allergies/diseases/special dietary requirements, university
where he will study, degree and course). Please send us the scanned ID or Passport. - Parents/legal representative information (name, surname, nationality, passport number / NIE / ID, sex, home phone and mobile phone, e-mail).
To make a reservation it is also necessary to make the payment of a deposit of a monthly payment, as a Deposit (nonrefundable amount) that will not serve as payment of any of the monthly payments, but will be saved as a deposit and will be returned to you at the end of the stay if you have fulfilled the conditions of the reservation contract and if there is no outstanding payment, or damage to the room, in which case the corresponding part would be deducted.
Conditions of payment
It is necessary to send by email, the payment of the deposit, the copy of the proof of entry or the transfer when making the reservation, which must clearly state the name and surname of the resident to whom the deposit / bimonthly corresponds and the concept "Residence". The amount of the bond will be refunded only to students who have remained in the residence throughout the face-to-face period of the academic year after deducting the expenses or compensation that may arise. The resignation or abandonment of the awarded place will NOT entitle you to the refund of the deposit in any case.
The award of the specific rooms will be made from June 1, after assigning the renovations of the alumni, and in order of reservation. Applicants will then be sent an email with all the necessary information and documentation (Residency Contract, payment methods, etc.) to formalize the Residence registration within 10 days. For those who have been assigned a place in the residence, it will only be official and definitive once the first two months (2 months payment) have been paid, always before August 15 and sending the corresponding email, showing in the concept "FIRST BIMESTRE Residence" and the name and surname of the student, in addition to attaching the rest of the requested documents.
Documentation necessary for the confirmation of a place
Residence contract duly completed.
Document accrediting the payment of 2 monthly payments, before August 15.
Photograph passport size.
Photocopy of the ID, NIE or passport.
Photocopy of the health card or health insurance.
Requirements for accommodation in the residence
Any person who wishes to reside in the residence must meet the following requirements:
- Have admission (provisional or definitive) and reserve an academic place at IE University.
- Have fulfilled the corresponding payments: Deposit and payment of the first 2 monthly payments.
- Have completed the Place Application Form and Residence Contract.
- Accept the rules of coexistence and the Regulation of Residences in all its points.
- Deliver the requested documentation before August 15.
